Dr Andrée Rochfort is married with four children. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1987 and worked in St James Hospital Dublin. She completed her specialist training for general practice in Cardiff, Wales and was a practice partner in a five doctor practice there. She worked as a GP in Enniscorthy since 1998 and moved to join the Palms in Gorey in 2018. She commenced as staff member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (www.icgp.ie) in March 2000, as Director of the Doctors’ Health Programme and is the Irish national representative to the European Society for Quality and Safety in General Practice, EQuiP, since 2007. Andree is on the Board of the European Association for Physician Health (www.eaph.eu ).
Andrée’s personal interests include chatting at family mealtimes, Camogie, Ladies Football, Hurling, walking her German Shepherd almost human dog, Animated Films, Art and Nature. One of her proudest achievements is a three year term as Football Manager of a Ladies Gaelic under 14 team.
